Who this is for
This session is for adults preparing to move to Germany, or newcomers in their first three months who are overwhelmed by the distance between textbook German and daily speech. It works particularly well if you know some grammar but cannot decide whether to focus next on listening, vocabulary or speaking.
It is not an immigration-law appointment, certified language course or exam preparation class. We do not interpret official documents. When a question requires legal, tax or medical expertise, we will tell you to seek a qualified professional.
What we build together
Before the call, you complete a short prompt about your destination, household, work pattern, transport and current level. During the session we map six to ten likely situations: registering an address, buying food, arranging a delivery, speaking to a landlord, using local transport, meeting neighbours or attending a routine appointment.
You receive:
- a ranked four-week language plan;
- a personal phrase sheet with polite openings, repair phrases and likely follow-up questions;
- listening priorities for prices, dates, addresses and directions;
- two short rehearsal scripts based on your own circumstances;
- links to suitable public practice resources.
How the 75 minutes run
We begin with a ten-minute context check, then spend about thirty minutes sorting situations by urgency and consequence. The next twenty-five minutes are for speaking and listening rehearsal. We reserve the final ten minutes to choose a daily practice rhythm and identify what can safely wait.
Your written plan arrives by email within two working days. It covers four weeks; it is not an open-ended tutoring agreement.
Preparation and access
Bring your expected move date, destination, rough weekly routine and any German phrases you already use. Online sessions use a standard video call. In-person meetings take place by appointment at our Frankfurt office. The office has lift access; please mention other access needs when contacting us.
Price, changes and next step
The fixed fee is €95. Payment arrangements are confirmed when a date is offered; this website does not take payments. You may reschedule once without charge when you give at least 24 hours’ notice. See the refund and cancellation policy for full details.
